29.3.19 DASP collaborative writing, Robot making day and Mothering Sunday service
DASP Collaborative Writing
On Wednesday Ivy, Oliver, Erin and Juno from year 4 went to the Thomas Hardye School and took part in a collaborative writing competition. Each of them were part of a group of children from other DASP schools, who together wrote a 500 word story. Everyone joined in very well and produced some fabulous ideas.

Robot Making Day
Thursday was our robot making day. In our bird groups we designed, collected materials, made and decorated our own robots. It was a lot of fun and we made some fantastic robots!
Friday 29th March
Mothering Sunday Service
On Friday the whole school walked to the church for our annual Mothering Sunday Service. We were joined by lots of parents and friends to celebrate this special day, happening on sunday.
Sharks class recited a poem 'My Home-Baked Mum' everyone joined in beautifully. Our recorder children also performed 'God you hold me' and Erin, Kian and Elsa shared a prayer. Finally as is tradition at Winterbourne, children presented their mums, grandmothers and carers with a posy of flowers. Thank you to the PTFA who kindly provided the beautiful flowers.
