Car wash 04.07.16
Washing the wheeled cars and bikes the children have used their gross motor skills, helping to develop their large motor muscles. Acting out real life experiences the children bought tickets to wash their cars in the 'car wash'.
All our practising paid off on sports day. The children loved the race, kept in the lines and ran really fast. They managed to adapt their behaviour to different events, social situations and changes in routine. I am so proud of them.
After a week of watching the caterpillars they built their cocoons around themselves. Finally all 5 butterflies hatched. When it was time to release them the butterflies were reluctant to leave us. The children waved their arms, flapping, showing the butterflies how to fly. We waved goodbye to each butterfly as the flew and, asking them to come back and visit us.
