Conkers 25.09.15

To encourage children to join in with repeated refrains and anticipate key events and phrases in rhymes and stories we sang 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', played a 'Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes' labelling game and read Owl Babies.

Supporting children's 'Enclosure' schema (patterns of repeatable behaviour) the children enjoyed breaking the shells of conkers and use them to fill up baskets and jars.
