Going on a bug hunt 16.05.16

After a downpour one morning the children went on a bug hunt. We used magnifying glasses and creature peepers to find snails, woodlice and spider webs. The children collected daises, grass, sticks and stones in pots, the layed them out to sell.

To develop our gross motor skills the Pre-school joined Mr Treble and the Reception class for PE. We practiced the 100 metre sprint, throwing howlers, and completing a cross country course.

Singing 'Farmers in his den' the children joined hands to make a circle and enjoyed being chosen to join the Farmer in the middle.
