Remembrance Day 08.11.16
This week the children have engaged enthusiastically in the Poppy activities offered. Using scissors and glue the children made poppies and crosses and 'planted' them into the sand, developing their fine physical skills.
Rearranging red glass nuggets, red pom poms and green stems some children made 3D poppies, using mathematical terms to describe shapes.
On Friday at 11 o'clock the children watched the CBeebies' Act of Remembrance video on the whiteboard. They managed to remain silent for the 2 whole minutes. I am so proud of them.
