RSPB School Bird Watch and a Bus-Stop Cake! 08.02.2018
We all had a fun day on Thursday as the children all took part in the Big Schools' Birdwatch. In small groups, they spent 20 minutes in the school grounds recording the birds they could see. The results for the class were sent up to the RSPB. I had also promised the children a 'bus stop cake' if they mastered the division technique known as 'bus stop'. I was constantly reminded of this rash promise so brought in cakes for the children to enjoy whilst they watched the film 'Hugo', the book we had been reading this half term.
