WEEK 9

The children have been very creative this week making and decorating paper plate dinosaurs and printing their own 'nameosaurus' of which you can displayed around the classroom. Please feel free to take a look at all of the lovely art work that we have produced over the past three weeks.

There has been a continuation of our dinosaur based activities such as - making dinosaur eggs with cornflour and water, dinosaurs in the earth and water, mark making inside the dinosaurs, frozen dinosaur eggs, trains around dinosaur land, how tall are the dinosaurs (measuring with Unifix cubes), pasta dinosaur shapes and role play in the Dinosaur Den. In addition to these, the children have been mark making and posting their letters into the post box, small world, colouring, making people with playdough and lots of outdoor learning and play. The children really enjoyed walking around the wildlife area on our field, exploring the hard work that has been put into rejuvenating this area by Ms Braidwood and her team of volunteers!

We kindly ask that if your child comes to Preschool wearing their wellington boots, that they also have a pair of shoes to change into, many thanks.
