Bubbles 11.07.16
Using bubble solution and a hoop we tried to make a bubble with a child inside the hoop. The bubble did not even reach the children's knees before it popped. This led us to ask the question "why does the bubble burst?" We decided the bowl the children were standing on was popping the bubble. After getting a smaller bowl it still popped. We tried a bigger hoop, still to no avail. We decided the wind was popping the bubble so took it all inside, and it still did not work. Finally we gave up and used wands to see who could blow the biggest bubble.
Demonstrating and teaching skills and techniques Annie showed the children how to make a house out of waffles. The children went on to make a tunnel and obstacle course on their own.
