Literacy this week saw us doing an independent write about the book we are reading ‘The Inventions of Hugo Cabret’ 

In maths we have continued to look at fractions with Miss Darby and multiplication and division with Mrs Austin. 

This week in  science we have done an experiment all about how far sound can travel. The question was: Does sound travel further if they are louder? To answer the question Mrs Darby banged a drum really quiet and we took a step back each time if we could hear it and when she banged it loudly we repeated the experiment. 

With Ms Moore in PE we have been  dancing to a song by Steps called ‘5,6,7,8’. 

In Art it was really fun because we were using all the shading techniques to draw an eye or a profile of our friend.
