We look back on week three of our blog this term by reflecting on some of the learning we have done. 

In Mathematics, we have continued our work on place value in Year One and Year Two. Year One children were learning about adding on more than and given number and then finding one less. They did this in the form of a board game where they had to find one more of less than the number shown on the dice. Year Two children have done work on partitioning numbers.

The children have been singing songs in Music and one of our blog photos this week shows them doing some of the actions as they sang.

In Geography we have been studying a variety of maps created for different purposes in preparation for making our own. The children then made maps of the classroom using objects to represent different areas of the room.
