Week 3
This week the children in Cherry class have been busy making their own 'Supertato' characters in preparation for their weekend adventures with the children at home. They listened carefully to the story and then decided upon the materials and colours of their own Supertato character and gave them a name. The children have been asked to introduce their potato character to their family & pets, then take them everywhere that they go over the weekend, in preparation for their literacy activity week beginning 31st, January.

We were also very lucky to take part in activities with a group of students from the Thomas Hardy school. We listened to the story of 'The Rainbow Fish' and then made some beautiful blue fishes using paper plates & resources to decorate them with.
After this, we watched and participated in some science experiments with cornflour, water & different liquids that changed the colour of the water.
The children really enjoyed finishing the session with the older children by singing the Baby Shark song and creating movement to the music.
