Happy New Year! It was so lovely to see the children settle so well back into WVFS this week. The children have been introduced to our new topics 'Superheroes', 'How we have learned to fly?' and our Computing topic which they love - programming a robot! 

In Computing, the children were challenged to experiment with the buttons on the Beebot and instruct their partners and teacher to move in specific directions. They then used this knowledge to program their Beebot. 

In History, the children learned about Wilbur and Orville Wright - The Wright brothers and their inquisitive minds which led to the first aircraft being flown - all be it for 12 seconds! 

All children came home with their spellings (in a yellow book) on Friday - their first test will be Friday 12th January 2024.
