The children have been working hard in their writing lessons in Beech Class this week. Building upon prior learning about verbs, the class have discovered what adverbs are and used these when writing sentences. They have also worked in groups learning about adding -ed to regular verbs to change these into the past tense. 

In Art, the children built upon their learning in previous lessons to draw objects with different materials to create texture, whilst in RE we retold the Story of the Paralysed Man as we answer our question, 'What did Jesus teach?'

The week finished with the Harvest Festival in the school hall. It was lovely to see so many people there. Beech Class sang a song called Harvest Time and each class contributed to the assembly with their own song or poem. Thank you all for coming.
