Week 3
This week our focus has been food and farming. Business is booming in our new Farm shop where the children have continued to enjoy role play. The children have been co operating well together, taking it in turns to be the customers and the shop keeper.
The children were keen to get creative and collaged farm animals onto paper plates which look fantastic! On our farmyard tuff tray we have added some wooden bricks which the children have been using imaginatively to create pens and enclosures for the farm animals.
During water play the children loved using the fishing nets to catch sealife. They counted out how many sea creatures they'd caught and compared it with their friends. In outdoor learning this week the children were keen to search for and collect natural materials to use to decorate their hats for our upcoming harvest festival on Friday.
