Week 2
This week the children have enjoyed listening to 'sharing a shell' story by Julia Donaldson. We have been talking about sharing with others and it has been lovely to see how starfish class has been making the most of opportunities to share their toys/resources.
We have been problem solving in maths where the children have been sorting shells into size order and cooperating together to complete sealife puzzles.
In our tuff tray the children have been keen to explore an assortment of shells lying in a sea of blue/green rice. We also added blue colouring to shaving foam to which the children had a wonderful time hiding and finding sea creatures!
