This week our topic book has been 'The Bad Tempered Ladybird'. During the week we have been focusing on maths, especially numeral to quantity, adding the correct number of spots to ladybirds. The Blossom children have also been busy creating their own ladybirds with playdough, loose parts and herbs. Alongside ladybirds the children were lucky enough to see Mrs Jackson's real life display scorpion, which they used to do some observational drawings. We ended the week by exploring a natural, loose part tuff tray with lots of leaves that the children used to create faces and mini beasts.
