On Tuesday, Tim from Wessex Water came to visit us to talk about the water cycle, how to use less water and to think about what is put into the water system. He did two workshops, the first for EYFS and the second for KS1 and KS2. He spoke about where our water comes from, how it is cleaned and the importance of reducing what we do use.  He also explained to the children the importance of only putting the three ps down the toilet and nothing else to stop pipe blockages and sewerage overflows. These were - paper, pee and poo!

The children all engaged and listened well with lots of questions for him. It was great to have an outside visitor linking to the topics that have been studied within school.
