Hello and welcome to week 10 of our summer term.
You will find both the maths and literacy home learning grids above for this week and also on Tapestry in the 'documents' section.
This week the children have been recapping upon thier knowledge and understanding of both 2D and 3D shapes in maths. We have been practising identifying and talking about their characteristics, using the language of sides, faces, points, corners and vertices.
In literacy we have continued to practise letters & sounds, high frequency and tricky words, phase 2-5. The children have also been thinking of words that begin with certain consonant sound blends and writing sentences independently using some of these words.
The children have been really enjoying our afternoons outside, when we now have our daily reading sessions. They have also been making pictures of dinosaurs using pebbles and racing games to practise their physical development skills.
