Week 10
This week our topic book has been Little Red Riding Hood. The Blossom children have enjoyed all the activities supporting this book, their favourite being the small world tuff tray where they have been retelling the story using a range of small world animals and people. They have also been busy creating collages using different shades of red, making a large Red Riding Hood and making different cakes for Grandma by cutting and sticking. Alongside craft activities the children have worked hard on their maths, focusing on prepositions. We had lots of discussions on the journey Little Red Riding Hood took to get to Granny's, using lots of language such as 'next to, behind, under and on top.'
