Wk 4 Owl babies
After reading the story 'Owl babies', describing personalities of each of the baby owls, and discussing their feelings we made birds nests. Searching for grass, twigs, leaves and feathers the children enjoyed the activity until the urge to roly poly down the hill was too strong.
Activities this week included cutting cards to practice scissor skills and threading pasta for fine physical skills.
Small world play involved feeding dinosaurs with 'hoops'. The children extended this activity by using scissors to cut up the hoops.
Friday we compared marrow sizes and weights using the produce bought in for harvest festival.
