Week Beginning 22nd June

Dear Sharks Class,

Hope you’ve all had a fab week in the sun! Please do remember to slip, slap, slop at this time of year. I have attached a fun video below to remind you of how to stay safe in the sun.

BIG NEWS!!! If you are a year 4 child, your parents should have received a very exciting email about coming back to school for one day only, before the end of term! On Friday 10th July, you are invited back to see all your friends, (and us teachers!) We will have plenty of fun and have a little leaver’s ceremony too! There won’t be any parents at the leaver’s ceremony this year, but at least we’ll get the opportunity to be together one last time and wish you luck on you exciting journey to middle school. Please ask your grown ups to email the school to say whether or not you can make it, if they haven’t already.

We’ve been super impressed with the performance poetry which has been coming in. See the links below to see Benjamin and Sophia in action. Oakley has written his poem out beautifully. Great to see he’s kept on top of his handwriting during lockdown, looks brilliant! Jacob is busy doing his home learning whilst keeping up with all his sporting activities. He’s also been finding out about the Titanic, as it’s something that really interests him. We’ve had a few more Sharks back at school this week, as their key worker parents are busy. Mrs Moore has been keeping them active today on the field!

Mollie has been inspired by our topic work on endangered animals and decided she wanted to do something to help. She has contributed her own pocket money to sponsor a Snow Leopard.

Enjoy your weekends and the coming week. Just three weeks to go before the Summer hols now!
