Week 9
This week we have been learning facts about the planets in our solar system by listening to a brilliant song ' This is our solar system'. In their chatty chums pairs the children wrote fact sheets about each planet. Then they had a go at designing their own planets and writing about the features. They had to include the weather, temperature, size and specific features of their planet. The children were very engaged in this work and produced some really good writing.
We have started putting together a display in the classroom and the children have started bringing in books and posters to link with the theme. Their home learning this term is to make a rocket and we will be displaying them in this space. Happy making!
