Week 7 - Science
This week in science the children worked in small groups and sorted out everyday objects to see which ones could be recycled in the glass, plastic, paper and card or compost bins and which ones could be reused and what would have to be thrown away. They talked about the materials objects were made from and alternative uses for them. We also discussed what they recycled at home and what we recycled at school and how important it was before buying something to think about what it was made from and if it could be reused or recycled. If you get a chance over half term, get your child to help you sort out the recycling at home and talk about how you reuse, reduce and recycle.
Remember Friday 21st and Monday 31st October are training days and the children will not be in.
