Week Beginning 13th July

Dear Shark's Class,

So, we've come to the end of the strangest year in living history! We've all got a Summer holiday to look forward to, with plenty of sunshine, (fingers crossed!) Hopefully some of you are able to get away for a few days, maybe camping, seeing relatives or friends. Whatever you get up to, enjoy your break!

We are so pleased that we were able to say a proper farewell to our current year 4s last Friday. They will be missed and are under strict instructions to report back and let us know how they're getting on in middle school! We had 5 of our Sharks class in on our final day on Friday, as key workers. There's a lovely photo posted below of them sat on the toadstools in the top playground.

We are super excited about having next year's year 4 Sharks back with us in September. It was lovely to talk to a few of you on the phone today, I was able to do a little phone around of the children who have not been in school as key workers this term, just for a quick catch up. Lorien had his birthday yesterday and got a bike as his present! A huge happy 8th birthday to Lorien, from all of Sharks classHe was having a special birthday trip out when I called on Friday; ice cream in Swanage!

Sophia and George have been keeping us updated with the things that they have been up to this week and you can see a few of the science experiments they have carried out below, as well as Sophia making carrot soup, with a little help from her little Sister!

Have an awesome Summer break Sharks class. Look after yourselves and your families and remember to smile lots!!

Lots of Love from,

Miss Darby and Mrs Austin
