WEEK 14

What an exciting week we have had with a very special visit from Father Christmas arriving by helicopter and landing on the school field. The children thought this was amazing and enjoyed meeting him and receiving a gift from Father Christmas.

Thank you very much to you all for your support on Christmas Jumper Day, for sending the children into school in their festive jumpers and donating to such a fantastic cause.

We have been reading lots of Christmas stories, particularly focusing on the Christmas Story where we have been talking about each of the characters and their role in the story. The children we very good at remembering all of the characters and enjoyed drawing their favourite in their busy books.

In maths the children have been consolidating their recognition, ordering and recording of numbers up to 20. They have been ordering our Christmas tree numbers, making number lines, completing missing number and counting activities.

We have started lots of lovely Christmas art and craft this week, we hope you like what the children have been busy making for you!

Next Wednesday we will all be sharing Christmas lunch and continuing to make lots of festive things.
