Although we only had a 4 day week, following the Christmas holidays, we managed to pack lots in! We have begun our new maths topics with an introduction to fractions an the latter half of the week. The children made Lego towers and recorded the fractions they found. We wrote class blessings in our RE this week. They were really lovely and we are going to be saying a blessing at the end of each day. This half term, we have chosen a blessing written by Ella C and Amelia, as it fits in nicely with our collective worship theme on "courage".

Half of the class have started our science topic on Light, learning about what a light source is and that dark is the absents of light. The other half had their first week of Woodland Schools on Thursday afternoon, which they all thoroughly enjoyed. Group 2 are looking forward to their Woodland Schools session this Thursday, so please do remember your outdoor learning clothes!
