Now the children are familiar with the book, they were able to describe the main story, events and principal characters. We used pictures to retell the story.
During wet play we watched a short DVD about a girl who wanted to dance with the moon. The children pretended the scarves were moons and danced around the hall.
Learning shape names some children hopped from one to another, then decided to play hopscotch.
