Wk 1 Olive Octopus's Deep Sea Ditties
Working with the Reception class on a Thursday afternoon in the wildlife/outdoor area the children were introduced to the mud kitchen. Exploration of the environment led them to make 'daisy soup' and search for bugs. This will be a weekly opportunity for the Pre-school and Reception children to take part in some Outside Learning.
Olive Octopus's Deep Sea Ditties.
Launching the start of our topic this term the children have listened to the story 'Olive Octopus's Deep Sea Ditties' and 'The Lion Who Wanted To Love' written by Giles Andreae. The tuff tray was filled with 'under the sea creatures' and lots of activities outside for the children to enjoy.
