Week 6
This week our topic book has been Rosie's walk. To help support our understanding of harvest we had our trip to Wessex Wild Farm. We had lots of fun on our trip, finding out about harvest. Chrissy told us about her farm and the produce she harvests; vegetables and meat.
We walked to the allotment and picked lots of vegetables. We were given a taste pot full of fruit and vegetables to try, we also tried vegetable crisps and popcorn. We made some bread which we shared at the end of the day. And planted some herb seeds that we will care for in the classroom.
We enjoyed our picnic in the outdoor classroom and wondered around the woodland.
