Week 13
This week the children have watched another Old Bear story by Jane Hissey - Old Bears Christmas Special - and used this as inspiration to write their own Christmas story about some of their own toys. They have written some super Christmas adventures and enjoyed planning and writing their stories.
On Tuesday the children finished their Rudolph tree decorations and hung them on the school Christmas tree. They look lovely and will of course come home at the end of term. They have also each made a hand puppet which they have sewn - we have some great sewers in Dolphin Class!
Today we filmed The Little Red Robin nativity that the children have been practising. They have worked incredibly hard learning all the songs, the words and the actions and we are looking forward to sharing this with you at the end of next week. Thank you for helping your child at home and for all the costumes that you provided. A few photos are included here!
It has been a very busy week with Christmas Jumper today as well. The children look great in their festive tops and thank you to all who have contributed to this great cause.
