This week the children have been looking at mini beast non fiction books to identify and learn about the different types of mini beasts. The bug sound book has proved popular where the children have been interested in listening to the various sounds that bugs make.

 

Incy Wincy Spider has been at work and transformed our tuff tray into a spiders web. The children were keen to use tweezers to collect all the flies and bugs that had been caught in the web!

 

The children had a fantastic time during outdoor learning this week - collecting sticks and using wool to make spiders webs. These are now hanging in Preschool so please do take a look.

 

During our Maths activity the children have been using 2D shapes to draw around to create mini beast pictures.

 

There has been lots of super mark making going on outdoors this week where the children have enjoyed chalking roads and numbering parking places to park their lorries and trucks. Great job Starfish class!
