Week 6
This week the children thoroughly enjoyed participating during sports day. Thankfully the weather was kind to us. The children took part enthusiastically and were so proud to receive their certificates and stickers not to mention the lollies! Well done Starfish class!
Our school playground is currently being transformed and the children have been watching excitedly through the window each day at the progress. The children have still been able to access the field to play at break time and lunch times and have been eager to watch the diggers at work!
We are still continuing our mini beast theme where this week the children have been using clay to make mini beasts and ladybirds. They have also enjoyed using wooden blocks to make enclosures for mini beasts to hide in.
The children have been keen to water the sunflowers and watch them grow really tall and finally open into flower!
