8.5.17. Planting our beans and growing cress heads!

This term in Science Mrs Darby has been teaching the children about plants, what they need to grow and why they are important to us. In order to see a bean growing, the children grew them in our mini plastic greenhouses using wet paper towels. Once the roots and shoots had grown a few weeks later the children went into the wildlife garden to plant the beans into pots to take home. The children also grew some cress and decorated the pot with googly eyes so that the cress looked like hair!
