Week 9 - Eco Day

What a lovely day we had on Wednesday on Eco Day & so lucky with the glorious sunshine that we had! The children (& adults) really enjoyed all of the activities that they took part in which included - Eco cubes, sewing, bug hotels, shelter building, scavenger hunt, eco art (inspired by Andy Goldsworthy), clay work, fitness & cooking. The children were able to choose three activities, over three sessions throughout the school day. At the end of the day we all attended an Eco Day assembly to look at some photographs, talk about our experiences, how fantastic it had been for the different year groups to work together & support one another & to see all of our beautiful creations. A big "thank you" to Ms. Braidwood for arranging such a fantastic day for the whole school to take part in!
