This week in literacy we have been looking at the jobs children would do in the Victorian times. These were jobs like chimney sweep, mill / cotton workers, working down the mine and being servants. A lot of these jobs were very dangerous and children did not get paid very well. We are glad we don’t have to do this anymore!!!

Our new value in collective worship is ‘Perserverance’.

In reading vipers we have been looking at the book ‘The Dragon Machine’ by Helen Ward. 

In science this week we were experimenting how long it would take ice cubes to melt in different environments. These were just an ice cube in a cup, an ice cube in cold water, an ice cube in warm water and finally an ice cube in hot water.
