Week 13

The children have certainly embraced the Christmas festivities this week - they have made beautiful candy canes which they have hung on the Winterbourne Valley First School Christmas tree! It looks beautiful.

They have also made some ceramic baubles and some children have had a go at sewing a reindeer, snowman or Santa! Perseverance took over here as it was a very challenging job - but the children tried really hard. Well done Superstars!

In Maths they have been thinking about sides and corners and used lollipop sticks to make as many 2D shapes as they could - see the photograph of Bertie doing a fantastic job with this!

On Thursday, the class celebrated Christmas jumper day and they all looked fabulous in their jumpers - see the photo attached!

They have been rehearsing for the Nativity - which you will all love - and learning their lines and songs in order to Wow you next week. We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday or Wednesday morning.

Thank you for your continued support

Mrs Beale

Also, a sneaky peek at the display in the classroom that all the children contributed to.
