To encourage taking turns this week we played the Greedy Gorilla game. As well as waiting for their turn the children also learnt to sort the food into two groups, healthy and unhealthy in a fun way. Using the healthy food cards to create nutritious meals and post the junk food into the gorilla’s mouth.
The pirate ship tuff tray proved immensely popular with the children sharing and counting out the treasure and building up stories.
Learning shapes turned into a balancing/stepping stone game, and building bricks were used to make towers.
Thursday afternoon during our ‘Natural Learning’ we played a matching colour game, and Friday morning the children enjoyed using the Receptions outside area.
