Week 10
This week we are recapping on 2D shapes & then learning about 3D shapes and their characteristics. Initially we looked at the shapes, talked about their names & everyday objects that they look like. The children identified any 2D shapes that they could see in the 3D shapes. The children have enjoyed exploring 3D shapes by using them for printing & talking about which 2D shapes they find. We went on a 3D shape hunt around the classroom to see which objects matched our 3D shapes & learnt a song about a cube, sphere, cylinder, cone & pyramid.
