Helping children to know that numbers identify how many objects are in a set we played 'Build a Bear' counting game. The children took turns to roll the dice, count the dots shown, and match to the corresponding body part.

We also built towers from wooden bricks discussing which tower had the most bricks, which tower would fall over first and why.
