This week in maths we did TTRockstars and times tables games and sheets . We did them in our colour groups and some of us got to be in the rainbow group for the day! We can log onto TTRockstars at home. The user names and passwords are in our homework books.

We did our whole class reading where we read ‘The Boy Who Grew Dragons ‘  We found out that Tomas, the boy who grew the dragon wanted to show his friends at their school. Then Liam came over and spoilt everything!

In P.E we played tennis again but this time we got to have the nets out and work with partners.  To start with, the year 3’s got to work with Mrs Macswiny and then the year 4’s swapped over. 

In R.E we are learning about Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. We made “divas” which are little pots made out of clay that we are going to put candles in. We traced our hands and decorated them with charcoal, like henna patterns. Some of us to drew trees in art and dabbed leaves on the tree branches with cotton wool buds. And if we did all the activities we got to do some Rangoli colouring-in.
