Making Tracks 23.01.17
Exploring colour and how colours can be changed the children dipped the wheels of their vehicle in paint and made different tyre patterns over the paper. We looked at the points where the tracks crossed or overlapped. The children discussed the way in which the paint changes and described what they could see.
One bittely cold morning when it was too cold to go out we bought the cars inside. Learning the sequence of traffic lights we made a 'road' and using the traffic signal rode the cars along the road, stopping and starting according to the color.
