Making the most of the cold weather the children used their hands to draw in the frost, developing their fine physical skills, and 'skated' on the sand pit lid, practising their balancing skills. Using song props we are learning simple Christmas songs that repeat phrases, allowing the children to join in. In the front playground we played the children's all time favourite, Hide and Seek, learning about spatial awareness and counting to 10, then ended the week playing 'doctors'.
