Week 10
This week in maths we have been exploring spatial reasoning and developing our understanding of the way things move and are located in relation to ourselves and others. The children took part in different activities over the week to deepen their knowledge, using different activities. Some of these were plotting their journey from home to school on a simple map, exploring the outside & identifying where objects are, creating a map to retell the story of The Gruffalo, identifying where recycled objects are in relation to the objects in the farmyard small world using their positional language skills & building mazes using building blocks & Duplo with small world characters & discussing where they are in relation to one another & the maze.
