'A small school with a big heart'

Pancake Day 09.02.16

What a busy time in the Pre-school this week. To celebrate Chinese New Year the children decorated the room with Chinese decorations, played in the tuff tray with red sawdust and gold coins, watched video clips of how Chinese New Year is celebrated, and matched gold coins on red envelopes.

On Shrove Tuesday the children used frying pans and pancakes to have a race. The children enjoyed this tradition as well as eating them afterwards.

Mrs Moore invited the Pre-school into the hall for a P.E. session. The children used different parts of their body to carry bean bags.

Outside the children used sticks and water to apply 'face paint' to each others faces.
