Mrs Capon joined us from Dorset Reading Partners to praise the children she has been working with over the last year. They each received a certificate showing all the books they had read with her and congratulating them on their hard work. Well done Maya, Finley, Kian and Beau.

Summer Reading Challange
Tue 10 Jul 2018Today Mary and Laura from Dorchester Library came in to assembly to talk to the children about the Summer Reading Challange. All children can take part. If you are not yet a member of the library it is free to join so why not take up the challenge, read six books and get stickers a medal and certificate on completeion! Usborne Books
Thu 05 Jul 2018Thank you to all our children (and parents) who took part in the Usborne Ready Steady Read. Your amazing efforts raised over £800 for the school to spend. This has been used for topic books for each class and sets of guided reading books. Below are a few photographs of our lovely new books. Well done! -
Summer Fayre
Tue 03 Jul 2018Thank you to all those who helped to organise and attended our annual Summer Fayre. As always the PTFA have worked tirelessly to ensure we had lots of stalls, entertainment and sunshine. Fantastic work! A great time was had by all and we raised a grand total of £769.45 which will be used to enhance your child's education at Winterbourne Valley. Thank you PTFA.
