'A small school with a big heart'

Week Beginning Monday 13th July

Hello Sharks!

It is hard to believe that we have so nearly reached the end of the year! This is always a bit of a strange, sad time for us teachers as we say goodbye to you either for the 6 week summer holiday or in the case of our year 4s, it's a big goodbye! This year is particularly sad as we have missed so much of the time we should have all had together. We are so incredibly proud of the way you have all dealt with these difficult times and you have proved yourselves to be a really remarkable bunch! Thank you to you and your families for all the hard work you have put into your Home Learning over these last 3 months. You have been amazing and we have so enjoyed hearing about all the work, fun and adventures you have been getting up to!

Goodbye to all our wonderful Year 4 children. DMS and St Osmund's are very lucky to have each and every one of you and Winterbourne Valley just won't be the same without you! Have a wonderful time and please do stay in touch to let us know how you are getting on.

Year 3s, we can't wait to see all your happy smiling faces in September and we are so excited about all the fun, exciting times we have planned for next year!

We'd like to wish everyone a lovely summer and we hope that next year brings happier, easier, healthier times for us all.

We have put together a final Home Learning Grid for you and also a Literacy and Numeracy booklet for each year group. These are full of activities to keep you busy over the holidays if you wish!!

Take care everyone and enjoy your summer!

Best wishes,

Mrs Austin and Miss Darby
