Week 2
The glorious weather returned just in time for our weekly Woodland School session this week with Mrs Thompson. The children explored lots of outdoor activities, but particularly enjoyed collecting fire wood & then cooking apples & blackberries in a saucepan on the fire, they were delicious! Other activities included grinding stones, drilling holes, looking at autumnal objects, rolling objects down the guttering on the slopes & digging up the weeds in the vegetable patch.
