'A small school with a big heart'

Week beginning 4th May

Good morning Dolphin Class,

I hope you have all had a good week and have had lots of outdoor time in spite of the rain.

Yesterday was a celebration of the RSPBs International Dawn Chorus Day. Bird song is something I have been enjoying listening to in my garden and out on my walks. I'm not very good at identifying which bird is singing but I am definitely enjoying their music.  The sparrows in my garden are becoming very tame and join us for lunch if we eat outside and I'm enjoying listening to the skylarks in the fields around Maiden Castle who sing their hearts out no matter what the weather is doing. How many different species of birds have you spotted in your gardens or on your walks this week? Let me know.

Thank you to all of you who have been emailing me and sending in photographs of what you have been up to and all your hard work. I really enjoying hearing from you all so please, keep them coming in.

As always if you are not sure about anything this week, let me know.

Take care and happy learning.

Ms Braidwood
