The Invention of Hugo Cabret 05.01.18
Our Topic for this half term is Inventors and Inventions. In English we have started reading the book The Invention of Hugo Cabret which the children are really enjoying. On Thursday we did some drama based on the opening pages and that afternoon the children copied one of the pictures in the opening sequence using shading pencils and charcoal. The children are also keeping their own Reading Journals to record their thoughts, questions and feelings as we read this great text.
