Week 10
This week the children’s focus book had been ‘My Green Day’. To help support the children’s learning and understanding of our half term topic Eco, Recycling and The Environment. They have enjoyed a range of activities such as reusing old material to create pictures, junk modelling using recycled boxes and adding herbs and leaves to playdough. Alongside these activities the children have enjoyed exploring our very own Charity Shop where they took turns dressing up in a range of different clothes, used the till and practiced their fine motor and mark making skills by writing invoices and receipts. The Blossom children have also worked really hard with their name recognition which has been a big focus this week. As well as this we have been talking about our feelings, explaining why we might feel a certain way and how we may overcome it.
